In the words of BMG: “For the weekend of September 18-20, 2026, IT collaborated with Endzeit to curate and create a weekender we called Entanglement. The collaboration was very fluid, with aspects of IT concepts showing up on all the stages, Courtyard, Geist, Sanctuary, even the talks. The most vibrant and visible part of IT within Entanglement was the transformation of an Oakland warehouse space into the Interdimensional Transmissions room, complete with all the hallmarks of the wormhole experience, highlighted by the multi day transformation executed by Amber Gillen and the Infinite Dimensions Crew. Working in this environment in the week before the show, tending to all the details from the lights to the parachutes and netting, the vision was achieved, and this installation laid down a thread that connected the Bay Area to Detroit. These are just words, but the feeling was palpable. An added honor was this fine folded steel netting we integrated into the back of the room that came from Grateful Dead’s tour, tying the lineage of the parachutes into true legends of the Bay Area. 

Within this environment, an intentional ritual space that we had set up all week, I got to play a set and guide the sounds and dancers to another dimension. Finally a chance to express myself through sound. I played on 4 CDJ-3000s, a Xone96, and two effects pedals: a Strymon Big Sky and an Empress Echosystem Dual Engine Delay so that I could shape and dub the sounds at my whim as I played. Amber joined me in the booth, finally fully releasing and transforming into full feral mode as she danced. I explored many aspects of where IT’s concepts connect with the Bay Area, thinking from the dawn of the Electric Kool Aid Acid Tests and the San Francisco Tape Music Center (Morton Subotnick, Ramon Sender, Pauline Oliveros) to what I understand of it’s explorational ever curious mindset today. Many people were just being introduced to the concepts of IT, and to feel the connection and dedication of the audience was thrilling, the moments of discovery and of pure elation were electrifying. Sharing this music with that sound system with our crew doing lights and space transformation and the dancers eating it all up was a real highlight of this year for me. The thread was laid, and true Entanglement of the energies was achieved.”
