“Being asked to do sets for occasions like Samhain is like being asked what do I want for my birthday; it's a gift to have full reign on dread. I honestly couldn't say why I love dread in a lot of the music I play, maybe years of living with intense anxiety have made it feel more like a home than anything. So it was a real treat to revel in that sound for this set, while having some moments of groove and off kilter movement. If music is sound architecture, then this is the foyer to that creepy abandoned house everyone says is haunted.”
