Alton Miller is one of those rare Detroit heads who is super humble – he not only witnessed the dawn of Detroit techno but was a major catalyst to its development. He connects Detroit to Chicago in a unique way, so this time on IT, we’ll explore his history and influences, and hopefully hear some stories about taking Detroiters to the Muzic Box to see Ron Hardy, or of his early residency at the Music Institute — among other highlights of a life spent in the underground. Miller will open the show with an hour-long live mix.
