The Talker member and Standards & Practices boss joins BMG and Erika from our Detroit studio for a DJ set with a deep techno perspective.

Karl Meier’s techno resume is impeccable – he’s worked everywhere from the legendary Gramaphone Records, in his hometown of Chicago, to Regis and Surgeon’s Integrale Muzique Limited distribution arm. As Talker, his duo with Johnathan Krohn, he’s released on the venerable Downwards label. These days, he’s running the excellent Standards & Practices label with his brother Ken and continuing to refine his approach to techno. This week on Interdimensional Transmissions’ broadcast from our Detroit studio, Meier will play an extended radio mix, with Erika providing a quick warm-up at the top of the show.
