I.T. Radio: Mike Servito
Live from Detroit, the No Way Back resident and a perennial star of Movement weekend digs deep into his musical influences.
Mike Servito is living proof that slow and steady can win the race. Having started DJing in the mid-‘90s, the Detroit native cut his teeth as part of Ghostly International’s DJ roster in the early 2000s. After moving to New York in 2012, he joined the Bunker as a resident DJ and gained a wider following by doling out jacking house beatdowns punctuated by acid-spiked moments. After a widely disseminated recording of his 2014 set at No Way Back, he’s been increasingly in demand every year, regularly playing the world’s most respected clubs and occasionally dipping his toe into music production alongside his friend Justin Cudmore. On this episode of Interdimensional Transmissions ahead of Movement 2018, the longtime fixture of IT’s No Way Back parties joins BMG and Erika for a live broadcast from our Detroit studio for an episode focused on his musical influences.
