This will be the inaugural BRINK OF DISASTER, an event curated with Interdimensional Transmissions & ADULT. IT will be presenting events at the Tangent from Thursday May 22 until dawn on the following Tuesday. Before we get lost in the eternal beat, we return to another side of who we are, exploring performative live bands that merge electronics and other sub cultural edges with performance art and supporting DJs. This night will be a full immersion into another sonic world, where bands, electronics, and art effortlessly mix into a night of experiences you won't want to miss. 

In the West Room, we will have all live bands, from Detroit local Day Residue, to the leather cult band Plack Blague from Nebraska, a rare performance from Seattle’s Light Asylum, and a closing set from Detroit legends ADULT.

In the East Room, we have DJs Auntie Chanel and Father Dukes starting and ending the night, with performances from Detroit's own wildman Jimbo Easter and San Francisco's undefinable Evichshen. West and East rooms will alternate turns creating a non-stop evening of madness! 

This will be an in depth take on the many sides of the vision that is teetering on the BRINK OF DISASTER.

Interdimensional Transmissions at Tangent – Thursday May 22 to Monday May 26, 2025

IT will be presenting 6 events. The first two are à la carte, with individual tickets available for I.T. & ADULT. present BRINK OF DISASTER on Thursday and I.T. presents T4T LUV NRG on Friday. On Saturday, Return to the Source begins with Tresor 313, and once No Way Back starts on Sunday, the music will continue for 32 solid hours — with Lot Mass directly following No Way Back, and The Bunker party on Monday night ending well after dawn on Tuesday. A Return to the Source Weekend Wristband includes entrance to all Return to the Source events (Tresor 313, No Way Back, Lot Mass, and I.T. presents The Bunker). Individual tickets are available for all 6 events.
