On Saturday November 30th — Time Stops. IT is doing a full takeover of the Tangent with unique concepts in The Ballroom and The Gallery.

The Ballroom stops time with its deep wormhole vibrations emanating from 3 No Way Back residents: Patrick Russell — mystic conjurer of portals to other dimensions, IT founder and curator BMG and a rare all new live show from Erika with some very exciting new equipment. Time will stop when hometown stalwart Shawescape Renegade begins, just back from his residency in Berlin with Musicboard Berlin & Detroit - Berlin Connection. 

The Gallery allows us to reach beyond time and create an environment that is warm and freaky, the perfect permutation for this time of year. We are honored to welcome back Chicago don Mark Grusane — bringing moments of pure freedom on the dance floor, elegantly blending the many influences that created Chicago House — he is one of the greatest Disco DJs playing today. The entire history of American music comes out in one ecclesiastical bacchanalian moment. To increase the sonic depth in the room, we also have one of our absolute favorite DJs and producers of all time — Daniel Bell. The amount of classic productions from his mind is immeasurable, he helped change the course of electronic music history through his own deeply idiosyncratic vision. His DJ sets are legendary, inspiring a kind of cult like atmosphere, like his annual Sunrise Sets at Tresor 313 where he poetically speaks through house music in its many forms. The ritual will begin with the lucid dreams of DJ Etta, who is many things from a writer to a core member of Blueprint and Moods, but as Time Stops we will be seeing her in her musicologist DJ form. 

The space will be made unique and in a new form by the transformational energies of Amber Gillen & The Infinite Dimensions Crew. The sound for both rooms will be by audiophile maestro Jim Gibbons & his AVS all star crew. The portal will open at 9PM — after that TIME STOPS.
